Theory Test

Theory Test

To enable us to book your practical driving test you must have first passed the DSA Theory Test.

The first part of the theory test consists of 35 multiple choice questions covering the highway code and various other elements of driving theory. The second part of the theory test is the hazard perception element, and this tests your ability to react to hazards as they develop in front of you.

We can recommend a suitable home study system for you to use, which should ensure that you pass first time. If used correctly, this home study system will avoid the cost of classroom tuition. If you put in the study time and achieve consistent passes on the home study system you should pass the theory test at the first attempt.

Unlike some other companies that offer fast pass courses, we insist that you have passed your theory test before you start your practical driving course as this will be one less thing to worry about during your course and remember that if you did not pass your theory test you would not be able to take your practical driving test at the end of your course and that the time taken to actually sit the test is valuable time lost behind the wheel for which there is no substitute.
